Some of the uses for Dill
Medicinally, Dill is rich in mineral salts, and can help with a salt free diet. In the past, (and maybe even some now), dill water has been a popular pharmaceutical digestive preparation.
In the kitchen, the flower, leaves, and seeds have been used to flavor meats, including fish, soups, cakes and breads. Dill is more well known to be used with pickles and condiments.
Dill has been used in aromatherapy, as an essential oil. Its been used for a few different ailments, some being digestive difficulties, and helping nursing mothers.
Dill, as a fragrance has been used as a part of a fragrance of perfumes, detergents and soaps. Some have used it to help freshen breath.
